“So The LORD gave to Israel all the land of which He had sworn to give to their fathers, and they took possession of it and dwelt in it. The LORD gave them rest all around, according to all that He had sworn to their fathers. And not a man of all their enemies stood against them; The LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand. Not a word failed of any good thing which The LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass” (Joshua 21:43-45).
“What then shall we say to these things? If GOD is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31).

Those of you who live near or work with Orthodox Jews are aware of something that happens every week. Every week on Friday, a few hours before sunset, Orthodox Jews begin rushing around, going home early, preparing, doing last minute shopping, doing all their last preparations, then rushing to their homes before sundown. The Sabbath doesn’t just come as do other days of the week. It is written in the fourth chapter of Hebrews that God’s people must also enter the Shabbat and we must labor to enter it. For us in Messiah, the peace of the Shabbat is every day. But it doesn’t just come to us. We must enter it. You can have peace and joy and blessings every day of your week. But don’t expect it to just show up one day at your door. Choose to enter into the presence of God every day of your life. Spend time entering. Practice entering. Get good at entering. And you can dwell in the Shabbat every day of your life. In other words, every day of your life can be like a weekend. Let it start today. Shabbat Shalom.
“Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:16).
“Then Joshua spoke to The LORD in the day when The LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.” So the sun stood still, And the moon stopped, Till the people had revenge Upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day. And there has been no day like that, before it or after it, that The LORD heeded the voice of a man; for The LORD fought for Israel” (Joshua 10:12-14).
“Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses” (Joshua 1:3).
“Much more then, having now been justified (made righteous) by His Blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him” (Romans 5:9).
Joshua was righteous, and by Jesus’ Blood we are righteous.
The LORD remarkably stayed true to His Word and granted Joshua every place where his feet stepped. Joshua kept in daily communication with Father GOD.
It is our responsibility to openly communicate daily with GOD, so we have a continuous, flowing dialogue with The LORD in Jesus’ Name.
Then, Father, in His own Way will trample the giants and make The Way where there may sometimes feel and seem to be no way. All we must do is believe and spend time learning more about Who He Is.
“But seek first The Kingdom of GOD and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:33).
Let us continue seeking intimacy in Him. The veil was torn. We have direct access.

The Most Fought Over Land on Earth by Jonathan Cahn
Friday, December 24, 2021
On May 14, 1948, Israel was born from the dead as a nation. Israel as many of you know, is the size of New Jersey. And yet, did you know that Israel is the most fought over land in history? Now you would think, with all this fighting, Israel must be filled with natural resources. It’s not. It has almost nothing – but one thing – it belongs to God. And so, if you’re saved, you’re of Israel and it’s the same for you. You might often feel like you’re in a fight, and every day’s a battle. There’s a reason for it. You’re God’s Israel. You belong to God. So your life is precious. There’s a calling on it, a high calling, and a good promise of great things to come. So it’s worth the fight. The enemy knows it. And his job is to discourage you from persevering and inheriting the blessing waiting for you. Be encouraged. Fight the good fight. Press on and keep going until you inherit the blessing. You knew you had a fight. But now you know you’ve got something worth fighting for.
The Faith Factor by Jonathan Cahn
Monday, December 20, 2021
A ministry successful at finding jobs for the unemployed was offered state funding, but they had to eliminate Bible study and prayer. It didn’t seem like too much, so they took out faith. The result was disastrous. The program finally closed down. They took out faith and kept the practical things. That says something. Even as believers, we often think of faith as if it’s, a nice thing, but not exactly the bread and butter of practical living. But it’s the opposite. It’s faith, God’s power through faith–that’s the most important factor. Without it, everything falls apart. It’s the things of God which we often ignore or let it get crowded out because it’s not the most practical or crucial thing. Well, that IS the most important and practical thing. Don’t let your prayer life or your time in the Word get pushed aside. Don’t let your time in God’s presence, in worship, in service and in ministry get pushed away, because the things of God ARE the most important things in your life. You take them out and everything else falls apart. Faith is first. God truly makes all the difference.
“…(T)hat all the peoples of the earth may know The Hand of The LORD, that it is mighty, that you may fear The LORD your GOD forever”” (Joshua 4:24).
““The fear of The LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of The Holy One is understanding” (Proverbs 9:10).
