_“The fear of The LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do His commandments: His praise endureth for ever”_ (Psalms 111:10).
_“The fear of The LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of The Holy is understanding”_ (Proverbs 9:10).
“Yirah” is a Hebrew noun derived from the verb “Yarah,” which means “fear.” The literal meaning of this “fear” or “Yarah” means “flowing from the gut,” as the Hebrew language is known for expressive word choice.
The Hebrew word “hhakhmahn” is “the ability to distinguish between good and bad,” which is in fact wisdom.
_“But his delight is in the law of The LORD; and in His law doth he meditate day and night”_ (Psalms 1:2).
The “Torah” (Hebrew word for teachings) and “Ru’ahh” (character) of Yahweh (GOD) are the beginning of wisdom flowing from the gut.
Therefore, as we seek an intimate relationship with our LORD Christ Jesus it becomes wisdom and understanding.
*PRAYER: Father, draw us closer in intimacy with Jesus for Your wisdom and understanding. Amen*
