“For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will The Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth” (Matthew 12:40).
This post has caused great controversy even in today from being published.
It is meant to be concise in relatively explaining Jesus’ death and Resurrection days. There are countless debates on exactness of days and nights whether Thursday or Friday to Sunday, etc.
Please see the heart of the matter all being equal.
The Jewish calendar day begins at sunset and ends at sunset.
Depending on geographic location in the world the sun sets and the respective season will tell the time of day such as 18:00-Hour or 20:00-Hour for ending and starting.
Three (3) Days
• Day One (1) Jesus died. Father GOD, Who Is Light, turned His back on the world for hours, which led to an absence of Light known as darkness blocking the sun and therefore the moon, as well.
• Day Two (2) initiated The Sabbath. The Word impacted hell. Father GOD, Emmanuel, was up close and personally with us.
• On Day Three (3) Father GOD’S Power by Way of Holy Spirit raised Jesus from death to Life! We find Jesus Resurrected in the three (3) days on The Third Day!
Another Very Important Three (3) to remember are (1) Father GOD, (2) Son Jesus and (3) Holy Spirit!
