Since Monday, 17 May 2021 I have been traveling for personal and professional reasons. It is more than difficult to be on the road away from my wife and our daughters. It is difficult to find pockets of solace and refuge in a broken world with flesh and satan, who is against GOD. But we have Father GOD in Jesus’ Name. When we put our emunah, which is faith, trust and steadfastness, in The LORD, all else pales by comparison. When GOD is for us, who can be against us?
The LORD is our Shepherd and we shall not be in want. He leads us beside still waters and walks with us in green pastures. Goodness and mercy will pursue us all the days of our lives and we will dwell in The House of The LORD forever.
It is sometimes simpler to verbalize and/or write these words. It can be difficult to live these words. With the hustle and bustle of the day to day lives in this fallen world in which we live, we have much for which to be grateful in being able to cling to Life in Jesus’ Name by Way of The Bible.
Whilst traveling, I have kept in step with regard to rigorously exercising and daily reading at least one (1) chapter of The Bible. It is a pleasure to remain disciplined, as such. The time delta between California and South Africa is nine (9) hours, where South Africa is nine (9) hours ahead of California. The adjustment took a few days. And soon I will return the other direction via Nigeria all of next week from Saturday, 29 May, departure in that direction.
My sleep patterns and routine were greatly disrupted, but I have been able to maintain my mainstays in exercise and daily reading of The Word.
I will dishearteningly say that it is a challenge to feel and experience GOD’S presence in the San Francisco, California Bay Area of the United States of America. It sadly feels as if The LORD’S hands and Holy Spirit have lifted off the physical geography. I certainly do feel His presence now and again, but not like we do in Africa’s open heavens.
People think traveling is a great luxury and privilege. In part there is some truth to this. But I will say that staying at home with my wife and our daughters is a greater luxury and privilege. We do not know what we have until it is not in hand. I have missed them from Monday, 17 May. Yet, I know we will be reunited Saturday, 5 June.
In the meantime, this is certainly a mission trip for The LORD, and I know in part some of the reasons He has had me journey this far. He has thrice for sure made His mark through yours truly speaking Life into three (3) different persons who are receptive to Him. GOD Is Good all the time. All the time GOD Is Good. We give him all credit, honor and glory.
Please, in your prayer time, I ask of you to pray for me on this mission that Jesus’ Light will make a difference in the physical territories where He has already laid claim to the ground upon which I walk. All we must do is be still and know He Is GOD.
The LORD Is Faithful. Thank you for your prayers.
Love and Blessings in The Most High
